With the new partnership between Telstra
and ISGM, Telstra has changed their criteria with
regards to the gas detectors.
They have put a new Standard into
place requesting that all Telstra Sub-Contractors
are to now have a 4 sensor gas detector.
Those people with an existing Peel 3 sensor gas
detector can also upgrade their detectors to a
4 sensor gas detector.
Personal working in confined spaces are to have
some form of detection that covers combustible
gases, carbon monoxide, combined with the ability
to measure oxygen levels. The unit is fully portable,
with rechargeable batteries and there is also
no need for calibration of the sensors. |

and includes 6x1.2v Nickel metal hydride batteries,
CP510 (Fast Charger). It has a charging time of
5 hours, run time 14hrs, .5hrs on low batt, has
an immediate detection time.

Upgrade
from 3 gases to 4 gases to include oxygen deficiency
or excess.
The Model No.O1-OAVB (3 Gas) unit has been upgraded
to include:
Oxygen detection (Now 4 Gas Detection).
- Air sensing is via 2 holes in the case below
to the original hand held probe.
- The Oxygen sensor is positioned near the first
hole closer to the front of the unit.
- The O2 detection system does not require warming
up.
- Calibration is set and there are no future adjustments
to be made.
- SAFE oxygen levels are displayed on power up
with the BLUE led on
